The Purey Cust, York

A £10 million conversion of old hospital buildings into three luxury apartments and eight town houses.

Situated inside the city walls with stunning views of York Minster, The Purey Cust properties are amongst those most admired within the city.

Formerly the Purey Cust Nuffield Hospital, and a fully operational hospital, the project involved a considerable demolition work at the rear of the building to uncover many handsome and elegant features designed originally by architect, Walter Brierley. Through careful design and restoration the property’s original layout and proportions were reinstated and the original features were incorporated into the new buildings to become prominent features. The properties were completed to an exceptionally high standard with luxury fixtures and fittings in place throughout.
