Following the successful completion of Phase 1, Phase 2 delivered a significant expansion to the existing accommodation, increasing overall capacity from 24 to 34 guest sleeps. Phase 2 involved the redevelopment of an area previously occupied by feed and storage facilities, transforming the site into a high-quality hospitality environment.
The construction works comprised block and beam flooring, a steel portal frame structure, and a sheet-clad roof system, carefully combined with traditional Cumbrian stone walling to complement the surrounding setting. Accoya external wall cladding was installed throughout, alongside Accoya windows and doors.
The completed development now provides ten modern, spacious cottages supported by premium communal facilities, including a dedicated billiard room and private bar.
